Kenmount Rd Infrastructure upgrade - Phase II

The city is upgrading the Kenmount Road trunk storm sewer. Kenmount Road is open for business during construction.

Construction work to upgrade storm sewer infrastructure on Kenmount Road will continue in 2019 from Polina Road to Peet Street. This is the second of four phases of work required to upgrade the entire length of Kenmount Road to the Team Gushue Highway Overpass. Check out the Frequently Asked Questions for further details.

This is a continuation of the work from 2018 which also aligned Polina Road.

The new storm sewer will replace the existing aging infrastructure and provide additional capacity at the same time.

While traffic on Kenmount Road will be maintained during construction, there will be some disruptions and slowdowns. The City will make every effort to minimize interruptions and to maintain traffic flow, especially during peak rush hour.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during construction, and we ask the public to obey and follow all posted signage in and near the construction zone.
