2021 Phase of Construction - Anticipated April to October 2021

Construction work on the final phase of upgrading storm sewer infrastructure on Kenmount Road will resume in late April 2021 from the area of Pippy Place to the Team Gushue Highway Overpass. Work is expected to begin during the latter part of April and will continue for approximately six months. Hours of construction are Monday to Friday, and every second Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The City is currently working with business and property owners located in this section to minimize impact to them.

This is the fourth and final year of construction work required to upgrade the storm sewer along Kenmount Road to the Team Gushue Highway overpass.

Traffic on Kenmount Road will be maintained with one lane in each direction; however disruptions and slowdowns are expected. Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of the road during construction. A traffic advisory will be issued prior to construction starting.

Occupational Health and Safety measures will be implemented based on the latest guidelines recommended for COVID-19.
