The slipway in Quidi Vidi off Cadet Road has reached its end of life and is no longer safe to use. As such, the City of St. John’s is looking for feedback from residents and visitors on how they currently use the area and potential options that will maintain access to the water. Residents and property owners in the area have been providing their feedback and the City also wants to hear from others who use the area or have thoughts to share. Use the tools below to tell us what you currently do in this area and what you would like to be able to do there in the future. You can also check out the Frequently Asked Questions or post your own questions throughout the process. This page will be open for feedback until July 12.

  • Share Please just let the people of the community just repair the slip way that is currently there! I’m born and raised here and it is a part of our culture and heritage. You are only giving an estimate on replacing it and I do not see this as necessary nor do anyone currently using it! on Facebook Share Please just let the people of the community just repair the slip way that is currently there!
