KENMOUNT TERRACE COMMUNITY PARK: INFORMATION SESSIONS
Planning for the new Kenmount Terrace Community Park, off Messenger Drive, is nearly complete. The park layout and amenity overview is now available to residents interested in learning more.
On Thursday, February 9 the City of St John’s and the design consultant held two drop in style information sessions at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 75 Kiwanis Street: 5:30 to 6:30 and
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In 2015 the City struck a steering committee comprised of members of the public, city staff and Council to provide guidance in preparation of the park concept plan which was approved in 2015.
Construction for this project is underway. The community centre is scheduled to open in 2019.
