The City received an application to rezone 51 Hazelwood Crescent from the Institutional (INST) Zone to the Residential 2 (R2) Zone to enable eight (8) unit semi-detached dwellings and a single-detached dwelling. To rezone, the property also needs to be redesignated from the Institutional District to the Residential District.
This is vacant land bordering Hazelwood Elementary School and houses along Blue River Place. This land was sold as part of the ongoing court-ordered sale of lands by the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of St. John’s.
Upon receiving a satisfactory site plan, the public consultation period will occur. Once the consultation period opens you can provide your feedback. You may ask a question at any time while the application is active.
