The City received an application from Pinnacle Engineering ULC on behalf of the property owner to rezone a portion of 405 Ruby Line from the Open Space (O) Zone to the Residential 1 (R1) Zone. To rezone the property, a Municipal Plan amendment is needed to redesignate the land from the Open Space District to the Residential District. A Regional Plan amendment is also required.

The application is to develop approximately 96 new residential lots with Single Detached Dwellings. The proposed development is an extension of the existing Southlands Area 5 subdivision and the planned future Southlands Area 6 subdivision.
