Consultation has concluded

Inclusion is one of the six key pillars of the Healthy City Strategy. The goal of the Inclusion pillar is to develop "A diverse city where residents of all ages feel safe, included, connected with each other, and with the city."

This pillar has two healthy city 'assets'. Healthy City assets are the building blocks needed in our neighbourhoods to support health and wellbeing. The assets of the 'Inclusion' pillar are:

  • Social & Community Connections
  • Diversity

Each of the assets are supported by a series of Implementation Strategies that guide action on behalf of the City and the stakeholders involved in the Healthy City Strategy, such as the City's Inclusion Advisory Committee. To learn more about the Implementation Strategies, see 'Documents'.

We are seeking input and ideas from residents on whether these assets and implementation strategies support a healthy city. If you have ideas, share them below.
