The City has a number of committees comprised of public members who provide advice and guidance on programs and policies. These committees come together and provide feedback on public engagement plans and processes.

- Metrobus
- NL English School District
- St. John's Board of Trade
- Downtown St. John's
- Specific City Advisory committees - Seniors, Inclusion, Youth
- City's Youth Engagement Action Team
- Association of New Canadians/Local Immigration Partnership
