Rawlins Cross Construction and Change Over
Construction work to officially change Rawlins Cross to a yield-on-entry system will take place starting at 5 a.m. on Thursday, August 30.
The work to remove the traffic signals and the implementation of yield-on-entry (traffic circle flow) will be in effect by 7 a.m. with minor construction continuing throughout the day. Flagpersons will be on site.
The new traffic flow at Rawlins Cross will remain in place until evaluation is completed by staff and a report presented to City council in the Spring of 2019. At that time council will vote on whether or not the traffic changes will be permanent.
