New pay stations installed

The city has installed new pay stations on sections of Water Street and Duckworth Street. The new pay stations have multiple payment options including most credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment. Due to the high incidence of vandalism the City has experienced on parking meters in the past, the new pay stations do not accept cash.

A total of 24 pay stations were installed on Water Street between Queen Street and Ayre’s Cove, and on Duckworth Street between Prescott Street and Cochrane Street, servicing approximately 90 parking spaces. A map of areas that require payment for parking is available here.

The PaybyPhone app option is also available in these areas. Look for signage when parking and consider downloading the PaybyPhone app, as this service will continue to expand in the future.

Timed Parking Areas will be maintained on streets not yet serviced by the pay stations or PaybyPhone.
