Goulds- Lining and Rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewers

The City of St. John's will be conducting sanitary sewer lining and rehabilitation work on various streets in the Goulds to reduce maintenance issues and improve service beginning in June. CIPP lining will be completed on Clearview Street (Civic #17 to Keith Drive) Della Drive, Keith Drive (Civic # 51 to Civic # 93) and the Keith Drive to Della Drive Easement. Other rehabilitation works will be completed at various locations – see Street List

Residents in all the affected areas will be notified by mail with details about the project.

Traffic interruptions and delays will be experienced. Two-way traffic will be maintained where possible. Every effort will be made by the contractor to maintain driveway access to properties located within the work site.

PROJECT FUNDING

The project was approved to receive cost shared funding through the Provincial - Territorial Infrastructure Component - National and Regional Projects (PTIC-NRP) of the New Building Canada Fund and the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund. The funding partners for this project are the Government of Canada, Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the City of St. John's.
