Community planning session

7:00 - 9:00 PM
City Hall (Foran Room 4th Floor)

As part of planning for the Bike St. John’s Master Plan, the City is hosting an open house session for all residents interested in on and off-road cycling.

The session will open with a presentation by Chris Boardman, acclaimed racing cyclist, gold medal Olympian, urban cycling advocate and planner. Chris will get participants’ ‘wheels turning’, thinking about creating a cycling-friendly city on a year-round basis.

Following the presentation and Q&A, the public is invited to engage with project team members through several stations that review a preliminary St. John’s cycling network and its components. All participants will have a meaningful role at this session and the collective thought of all participants will result in a network model for both cycling corridors and programs in St. John’s.
