City of St. John’s Announces New Partnership for 77 Charter Ave Space

The City of St. John’s is proud to announce an agreement with Food First NL and Stella’s Circle for the use of space at 77 Charter Ave, Suite 100.

These organizations have turned 77 Charter, Suite 100 into a community food space that serves residents of the building, the Pleasantville area, and the entire city. While the mix of programs from each organization will respond to the needs of those with low incomes, the programs and services will be available to all residents.

The City of St. John’s has a strategic direction to be a Connected City, where people feel connected, have a sense of belonging and are actively engaged in community life. This partnership will advance this strategic direction by helping develop public spaces that build safe, healthy and vibrant communities. This new partnership also aligns with the City’s Healthy City Strategy and Affordable Housing Strategy, which recognize the importance of cultivating partnerships and City resources to address affordability challenges and the determinants of health.
