Will traffic calming be included along Linegar Avenue?

Marunga asked over 6 years ago

Traffic calming was a consideration for street improvements along Linegar Avenue.  Traffic calming is a term used whereby street designs use layouts and physical features to naturally cause traffic to slow down.   The street cross section for Linegar Avenue is reduced and uses sidewalk with coloured concrete boulevard areas.  The use of the boulevard next to the sidewalk in areas near the school, near the convenience store and the health center all assist in reducing the street width thereby contributing to traffic calming objectives.
